My name is Mateusz. I'm twenty years old and I live in Warsaw, Poland. My interest for sneakers started when I was in Junior High School, so I've been a passionated sneaker collector for about five-six years.
I've always had a great love for shoes. I played volleyball since Primary School, I watched every match my favourite club. I've always been interested in not only play, but also what the players wore on their feet . Then my dream pair was Asics Beyond in red colorway. My love began to grow four years later when I met running sneakers.
Through the last couple of years I have expanded my collection a bit. Many pairs have come and left. The primary reason I sell is to get more space for new releases, so my collection can be renewed all the time. For this time my collection consisted of about 40 different pairs.
My collection is pretty wide in terms of style. I have everything from Nike to Adidas, Jordans, Filling Pieces and many more. Definitely my favorite pairs are Asics collabs (great job with 25th anniversary of GL3 by the way) and Jordans in bred colorways.
Some people are going with hype and wear only what is "popular". They don't care about the sneaker looks good for themselves. I wear what I like, I try to know the history and inspiration of each sneaker I have. This makes me an extraordinary fun. Sneaker society is the second reason why I collect kicks. You can share your craze with people from all over the world and making new friendships.
Recently I decided to set up my own streetwear brand - PRISMA. My products are clear and simple with interesting innovations . A great option for anyone sneakerhead are pants with adjustment leg strap! You´re more than welcome to check Instagram @prisma__wear and web store www.prisma-store.com.
Thanks for allowing me to tell a little of my story here for Epsilon Magazine!
