I am a sneakerhead episode 23 - @Hannahlatchman

I got into sneakers because of my boyfriend really. Before I met him I was aware of the sneaker culture but I wasn't as involve with it and interested in it as I am now. Once I met him he introduced me to publications like hypebeast, complex, yeezytalkworldwide and ever since then I was hooked. I've been really into sneaker for about a year and a half now. Last year was really a turning point for me because I think a lot of people realized the same thing that i did -That adidas was becoming more influential than Nike. Before last year I use to only wear roshe runs and free runs but ever since the "adidas takeover" I've only been rocking the three stripes. So really if it weren't for the adidas revolution, I don't think I'd be as heavily involved with sneakers as much as I am today.

I enjoy the impact that sneakers can have on culture. It creates a whole new society which many refer to as "hypebeast". Some people use the term in a negative way but I'm proud to be one! I think it's just a collection of people that enjoy the culture and they just want to aspire to inspire their peers and future generations. So overall, the significant impact that sneakers can have on a community is fascinating to me

Of course I love my pirate black yeezys. I don't think I've ever been more excited in my life! That was definitely one of my favorite moment of 2016 so far. But right behind my yeezys I love my beige NMDS. Adidas did something with the NMDs that made them one of the most sought after shoes of 2016. I would say they're right up there with yeezys in regards to its impact on the shoe culture
