New Balance M1300NW | Made in USA

"At the time of release people instantly drew comparisons
to the 2008 Alife (A.R.C) collaboration..."

The M1300NW "Teal" was part of the "National Parks" pack which released as part of the New Balance SS/14 Catalogue.

This pair was the pick of the bunch for me, although I must say I have a soft spot for the lake blue. The upper features a mix of nubuck and mesh in lush teal, with white, grey and reflective accents ensuring the pair pop nicely on foot. The shoe itself is very comfortable, utilising Encap tooling for a great ride.

One of my favourite features of the shoe is the subtle grey speckling on the mid-sole; which starts around the mid-foot and develops wrapping around the heel.

At the time of release people instantly drew comparisons to the 2008 Alife (A.R.C) collaboration which does look similar. However, there are enough subtle differences I believe to make it easy enough to distinguish the pairs in there own right.

I managed to grab these at a local outlet for just £43.50, which goes to show you don't always need to spend a lot to get a great pair of kicks.
